Description
A broad north-west facing break of slopeextends across the field and appears to correspond with the southern boundary of field named as 'Kiln Close' on Grey's 1762 map. A second slightly raised bank is aligned north-west. It is 4.50m wide and 0.30m high. It may relate to one of the closes shown on Grey's map, possibly the field named as Leys, to the south of 'Kiln Close'. In the western corner is a shallow oval depression, this is likely an infilled quarry of unknown date (1).
