Description

southern and western boundary of Ringshall Copse, defined by a prominent bank and ditch topped by closely spaced mature trees. Bank measures upto 3.60m wide and 0.50m high. It is flanked on its outer edge by a ditch 2m wide and 0.50m deep. Traces of a ditch running along the interior edge, 2.00m wide and 0.20m deep. This coincides with a track linking Ward's Hurst Farm to Ringshall Copse shown on Grey's 1762 map. (1)
