Description

National Trust SMR 152817. Located on the east side of Ringshall Copse. A series of east-west orientated lynchets at the base of the hillslope. They lie within an irregular-shaped fieldnamed as 'Goose Hill Wood' on the 1809 Ashridge Estate Map. A north-south aligned bank may be the boundaries of an earlier field named as 'Far West End' on Grey's 1762 map of the Ashridge Estate. (1)
