Description

National Trust SMR 152815:
Pair of ditches divided by an intermediate bank defines norethern and eastern limits of 'Near Heading' shown on Grey's 1762 map. On later plan of 1809 it is marked as 'Leys Readings'. Feature can be traced for 225m. Ditch to ditch 11m wide; 2 ditches 4m wide, 0.50m deep, bank is 3m wide. (1)
