Description

Map evidence suggests that the farm was built sometime around 1825, coinciding with the Ivinghoe Enclosure Act of this date. Was first shown on Grey's 1762 map as a courtyard farm with main approach from the south. On an 1809 plan the farm house is shown in pencil as under consideration. It therefore likely dates to between 1809 and 1821. The other brick built farm buildings appear to date to the late 18th century. Possibly as shown on the 1762 map (B1).
