Description
A rambling roughcast brick and tile house of the C20, generally of two storeys but with some attic rooms to the west and south range and cellarage to the east range, incorporating a three bay, two-storey timber-framed lobby-entry farmhouse probably of the late C16 to mid C17, remodelled in the C18 and C20, and a mid-C19 range. The 1902 west range is to the designs of C Smith and A D Brewer for Frederick and Lucy Whitridge, extended by 1925 by an unknown architect. Proposed for listing in 2015 but considered to be only of local interest due to the extent of later alterations. See report for detailed history and description (B1).
