Description
Sub-circular featureā¦. Had irregular sides and undercut in places, with a flat base. Sherds of medieval and late post-medieval pottery, post-medieval peg tile and animal bone fragments. Linear feature [1003], identified on the geophysical survey, encountered towards the northern end of the trench (this feature was also seen in Trench 11. it had an irregular profile , with steep sides and a concave base. A number of enhanced magnetic field linear anomalies have been identified within the dataset which may be of archaeological interest (b2).
