Description

A small country house designed by Robert William Edis in a rambling late Medieval or Tudor style and built in 1878. The builder was Mr E Condor of Kingsland Bridge Road, London. Illustrated in 'The Building News' of 12th July 1878 (B1).
Originally called 'Fernacres', then 'Fulmer Rise', and now 'Fulmer Rise Manor'. The building appears to have been considerably reduced in size by the demolition of the southern half (the service wing?) sometime between the late 1920s and the late 1940s (B3).
