Description

Two storey three bay brick building with shallow pitched gable roof laid in slate, the ridgeline of which runs parallel with the carriageway. Brick end stacks. Regular fenestration pattern with central ground floor doorway and fanlight contained brick arch. Flanking eight over eight sashes which have unfortunately been replaced with double glazed units. Similar eight over eight sashes to first floor with central six over six sash located above doorway. Attractive building set back from the pavement behind metal railings and partially obscured by two pollarded trees. Despite loss of original fenestration, the simple symmetrical principal elevation does make a positive contribution to the street scene. A Local Building of Note within the Conservation Area (B1).
