Description
Waddesdon Manor Station was built for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild, who had important interests in the development of the local rail system. The station was opened in 1897. Two miles distant from Waddesdon village, the station in time became uneconomical and it was closed in 1936. The platforms still remained in 1995 (B1).
Site of a railway station, opened as Waddesdon Manor on 1st January 1897 by the Metropolitan Railway. Renamed Waddeson in 1922, it closed to passenger traffic on 5th July 1936 (B2-3).
