Description
In April 2006 major improvements were announced by government to upgrade the existing freight line northwest of Aylesbury. Construction began in October 2007. Aylesbury Vale Parkway station opened on 14th December 2008 and the station building opened on 1st June 2009. The station is operated by Chiltern Railways (B1).
