In 1893 a new mill was built at the lower end of Quainton Road, the machinery transferred and the old mill on Back Street [CASS 07704] was demolished. The new mill used water from a well 40-feet deep to run the steam engine. The Taylor family continued to operate the mill at Waddesdon until the 1960s (B2).
