Description

30 lime, beech and copper beech trees planted in clumps and rows in Tylers Green in November 1937 to commemorate each of the 30 local men killed during WW1 and to mark the coronation of George VI. Each of the trees originally had an individual name plaque at the base, a few of which remained in 2007, when the trees were recorded as part of the AONB's Special Trees and Woods Project. In 2009 new plaques were installed, 7 new trees planted to replace missing trees, and an information board erected (B1).
Individual trees mapped from locations shown on information board (B3).
