Description

Historic building recording (level 2) carried out by TVAS in July 2012 concluded that the chapel had been little modified since its construction in 1865. Built in gothic style of flint with decorative brick band courses and stone dressings and a roof of slate with decorative moulded ridge tiles, there are lancet windows, a pointed arched entrance doorway, a first floor gallery accessed via a stair turret to the right of the entrance, and a lean-to vestry to the rear. Some internal partitions were modern 20th century additions. See report for detail (B1).
