Description

Undated pit and two postholes, possibly the remains of a medieval or early post-medieval building, found during a watching brief carried out by John Moore Heritage Services in March 2012 during groundworks for an extension. The lack of subsoil suggests the site had been truncated possibly during construction of the existing 16th century house. See report for detail (B3).
