Description

Historic building appraisal (Level 1) at Badrick's Farm in November 2009 by Thames Valley Archaeological Services concluded that the brick barn and separate stable building are probably originally of 18th century construction. Much of the brick walling of the barn is original, but the roof has been replaced, and adjoining structures have been added. The core of the stable is also substantially original but again with later additions. See report for detail (B3).
Negative watching brief carried out by Thames Valley Archaeological Services between February and April 2014 during groundworks for a new extension and underpinning works to the stables. See report for detail (B4).
