Description

Building positioned on extremity of village with stunning views to the north-west. Views gained from the Thornborough Road belie its scale and interest. However when approaching the village along the A413 from the direction of Buckingham, this building features prominently in views, with the eye drawn to it not only because of its elevated position, but also because of its white rendered elevation set against a backdrop of trees. Two storeys in height siting beneath a shallow pitched slate roof, the principal elevation which faces towards the north-west is regular, with windows arranged around a central doorway contained beneath a porch. Building visible on 18th century Inclosure map of village. This is a local building of note within the Conservation Area of Padbury. (B1)
