Description

19th century pair of semi-detached cottages, prominently positioned at the junction of Main Street and Old End and forming part of a group with 4, 5, 6, The Dairy, 10 and 11, Main Street. 2 storeys with a tiled roof and mid-ridge brick chimney. Constructed of red brick with buff coloured bricks used for decorative stringcourses and detailing. Applied timber detailing to apex of front gable range and bay window to ground floor. Despite alterations to windows, the building many of its original features and much of its character and makes a positive contribution to the character of the Conservation Area.This is a local building of note within the Conservation Area of Padbury.
