Description

Painted rubblestone and brick cottage with shallow pitch slate roof. Form suggests several periods of construction including later lean-to addition to right hand side and to rear. Despite replacement door and windows, in terms of scale and form the building retains much of its characteristic vernacular simplicity and charm. Prominent in street scene by virtue of its position close to the carriageway and the gently gradient and narrowness of the road. This is a local building of note within the Conservation Area of Padbury. (B1)
