  • HOUSE (Built possibly in the 1890s, 19th Century - 1800 AD? to 1899 AD?)

Description

Pinewood is a stuccoed, slate-roofed, villa of later date, perhaps 1890s, although its origins are not clear; a house is shown on the site as early a s the 1846 parish map. The detailing is classically inspired with three-arched window reminiscent of a Venetian window and the bracketed cornice over the ground floor window. This is a local building of note within the Conservation area of Stoke Poges West End. (B1)
