Description

Cast in Faircrete, a type of fibre and air-entrained concrete produced by John Laing Concrete Limited. Erected in 1971. On his website the sculptor William Mitchell says that Faircrete “could be cut and formed whilst in a wet state, and retained its shape whilst in the process of drying.” This is a local building of note within the Conservation area of Stoke Poges West End.
