Description

Part of Beard's cinema complex with dance hall above shops. The plans also included 61-63 Packhorse Road. Visually striking Dutch gable. Red brown brick with some bricks projecting to make patterns in the gable. The modern shop fronts are not sympathetic and present an enhancement opportunity. Designed in 1923 by J Stanley Beard. This is a local building of note within the Conservation Area of Gerrards Cross (B1).
