1830 datestone. Maps and documents show there were three cottages here, perhaps until the 1920s. Now one large altered and extended cottage, rendered and colourwashed with slate hipped roof. Style consistent with early Victorian date. Picturesque appearance particularly in spring with wistaria on front wall. Set in spacious plot with attractive gardens and mature beech-hedge to front. This is a local building of note within the Conservtation Area of Gerrards Cross. (B1)
