Description

Evaluation trial trenching carried out by John Moore Heritage Services in September 2012 identified a small number of 18th century or later garden features, including a well, 3 planting pits, and a French drain. See report for detail (B2).
The site is shown as part of the gardens attached to Little Hall Barn in the mid 19th century tithe map and the late 19th century OS first edition maps (B3).
