Description

Unusual house in dark mainly brown brick with hipped pantiled roof. Projecting gable with tiled springers. Brick and tile patterns include herringbone bricks between upper windows and tympani over two front windows with wavy tiled/brick patterns. Also some tiles projecting from walls. Casement windows with leaded lights. Front garden wall has unusual pantile coping, presumably to match house. House set close to road. Three chimney stacks, two on ridge. Designed in 1928 by Constantine and Vernon. This is a local building of note within the Conservation Area of Gerrards Cross Centenary. (B1).
