Description

Beeway is a typical example of a fairly basic farm labourer's cottage, with low ceilings and smallish rooms. It would have been built by unskilled workmen, using brick and flint from the fields to produce solid walls but no foundatons. It was built with a lean-to coal shed and outdoor privies (B1).
