Description

Three pits, three ditches and one ditch/pit found during evaluation. Features are likely to be part of a wider Roman landscape in the area, and the finds associated with the features suggest domestic waste, although a notable lack of building material suggests a distance from the main settlement. See report for further details (B1).
Evidence of early prehistoric activity indicated by finds of residual worked flints. Mid to late Iron Age features through to 5th century features identified during excavation. (B2).
