Description

Plaque in memory of Lt. Cpl. William C Pearce who was killed in action at Aubers Ridge, France on 19 July 1916. The plaque originally hung in the Methodist Chapel at Booker but was moved on 10 January 2007 when the building ceased to be a church unknown. (Ref 1 & 2).

The "Buckinghamshire Remembers" web site has pictures of a newspaper clipping and other memorabillia concerned with the death of Lt Cpl W.C.Pearce. (ref 2)
