A memorial hall (demolished in 1962) with wall-mounted, white marble tablet. The tablet has black lettering, with inscription and four columns of names, surrounded by a black border. Following demolition of the memorial hall, the tablet was moved to the Royal Britsh Legion Club. The hall was opened by the Rt Hon Earl Beatty on 7 December 1920. The site of the hall was given by Adlof Fass and the hall itself was a former officers' mess from Denham Camp and cost £660. Additional costs included moving the hall and a new roof. There was a cinema at the rear of the hall. Commemorates the men of Chalfont who were killed in WW1. Photographs of the plaque and details of the war dead can be viewed on www.buckinghamshireremembers.org.uk.
