Description
A wooden calvary with fugure of Christ in bronze. The corss is set in a concrete base and there is a stone scroll with inscritpion on the foot of the cross. On the cross is INRI. Commemorates 15 Catholic parishioners who were killed in action during WW1. The cross was vandalised in July 1990. The memorial was restored with new wooden cross and the top of two steps were replaced with a paved mound into which the cross was set. Names on the scroll were barely legible at this time. All features of the monument are in good condition except the stone scroll which is in poor condition.
