Description

A plaque mounted on brick support in the shape of the tail fin of a B17 with seats on either side. The memorial commemorates Clyde Sparky Cosper from Texas who sacrificed his own life by steering his stricken USAAF B17 away from Princes Risborough in 1943. This memorial to his courage was paid for by readers of the Bucks Herald in 1992 (B1).
