Description

Burcott House stood in meadow c. a quarter-mile from the parish church (at NGR). Seat of the Clinton family. Witness remembered a spacious building, demolished c.50 years ago (B1 (1862)).
Dated 1674, owned by the Fiennes in C18, demolished in C19. Called Burcot Manor in C17; appurtenant to principal manor at Wing (B2).
