Description

A brass plaque measuring 46cm(H) by 61cm(W) commemorating Captain Ricjhard Osborn Maclean Doig of the Royal Marines Light Infantry. Capt Doig died of a fever on 13 August 1900 while on active servic in China at the time of the relief of the legations of Pekin while commanding the Royal Marines of HMS Endymion.(Ref:1)
