Description

Geophysical survey carried out by Bartlett-Clark Consultancy in May-July 2010 identified a possible rectangular enclosure subdivided into curvilinear enclosures defined by relatively faint positive and negative anomalies. The anomalies might be caused by local waterlogging but might indicate survival of banked and ditched earthworks deeply buried beneath alluvium. Tentatively interpreted as a possible Iron Age or Romano-British farmstead (B1).
