Description

Statue, carved by Sir Bertram Mackennal, situated on the South Terrace of Taplow Court. The sculpture consists of Apollo and Chariot of the sun in relief, set upon a boulder. At the rear is a a metal plaque with Julian Grenfell's poem "Into Battle" placed above the incised dedicatory inscription to the two brothers (B1).
