Description

A chapel with associated plaque of portland stone dedicated to the memory of officers, non-commissioned officers and men of the First Buckinghamshire Battalion and the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry who lost their lives in WW1 and WW2. The plaque is surmounted by the badge of the Bucks Battalion. The plaque was sculpted by E Burton and is in good condition. Unveiling of the memorial was undertaken by Lord Cottesloe on 29 July 1922 (B1).
