Description

An alabaster plaque within a green marble frame surmounted by the image of St George. Commemorates 18 people killed in action during WW1. Sculpted by E Burton, sculptor. Dedicated by the Bishop of Oxford and unveiled by General Sir Robert Fanshawe on 22 August 1922. (Ref 2)
