Description
A small stone cenotaph on a two stepped base. There is a wreath on the front face. Commemorates 43 local people who served and returned from WW1 , 7 who were killed in action and 2 who were killed in action during WW2. Unveiled by the Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire in January 1921 (B 2).

Grade II. First World War memorial, unveiled in January 1921, with further names added after the Second World War. Reasons for Designation: Historic interest - as an eloquent witness to the tragic impact of world events on the local community, and the sacrifice it made in the conflicts of the C20; Architectural interest - an elegant and striking memorial pillar (B3).
