Description
Plan Form - SQUARE
Grade II. Shaft of cross, now sundial. Medieval. Stone. Square section with stop- chamfered corners, on square base (B15).
REMAINS OF STONE CROSS & 5FT OF SHAFT IN CHURCHYARD, OPPOSITE N PORCH (B2 (1862)).
NGR TO 'CROSS' (B4).
Remains of a Churchyard cross, opposite the north porch of All Saints Church (SP 88102260)(B2). The shaft, standing on a stone slab is square, with chamfered corners and is 4'9" high. It is now surmounted by a sundial (B35).
The Md cross shaft and base at SP 88012262 are as described. See ketch and ground photograph. Surveyed at 1:2500 (B34).
