Description

A roadside shrine comprises a tablet mounted on the churchyard wall with base and pediment flanked by two pillars. Constructed of York stone and measures 134cm (h) by 138cm (w). In good condition. Commemorates 66 local people who served and returned and 9 who died in action in WW1. Dedicated by the Bishop Suffragan of Buckingham on 13 June 1919. Constructed by Messrs Wise and Son, Builder. Thornborough, Nash and Adstock have identical memorials (B1).
