Description

Downley Memorial Hall was constructed in the early 1920's to commemorate those killed in WW1. The hall, sponsered by Sir John Dashwood, was seemingly opened in 1923. The hall contains a bronze plaque with stone surround listing those killed in WW1 added to later by those killed in WW2. (Ref 1)
