Description

A marble plaque 1.75m in height and 4m width located in the hall of Aylesbury Grammar School to commemorate the 21 former pupils who were killed serving in WW1 and the 31 in WW2. In good condition. The plaque replaces an original memorial of bronze and oak which was located in the Old School Hall and was destroyed by fire in 1954. The original memorial was dedicated on 01 August 1922 (B1).
