Description

A floriated latin stone cross on an octangonal, three stepped base. Originally sited at the junction of Abbey Barn Road with Ford Street and Beech Road, but moved in 1997 to a garden site on the London Road, because of traffic danger. The Architect was F.D.Howard and built by E.Harris and unveiled by the Lord Lieutenant of Buckingham in 1922 to commemorate those killed in WW1 with the names for WW2 being added later (B1).
