Description
A watching brief carried out by John Moore Heritage Services in October 2011 during groundworks for new access and garage building identified a sub-circular post-medieval pit 1.04m in diameter and 0.6m deep with steep sides and flat base, the fill containing fragments of brick and glass. Generally the groundworks were limited to the top 5-10cm and were too shallow for archaeological features to be revealed. See report for detail (B1).
