Description

The Methodist Chapel in Bryants Bottom has now been converted to offices (B1-2).
The chapel was built in 1871 (date stones) of red brick with slate roof, two tall arched windows on either side of the central arched doorway and a tall rectangular window in each of the side walls towards the back of the building. A single storey flat roofed rear extension was built in the late 1960s or early 1970s, and was used for the Sunday School. The chapel closed in 2001 and subsequently converted into offices with the insertion of an upper floor into the chapel and the removal of most of the internal fittings. See building recording report for detail (B3).
