  • HOUSE (20th Century - 1900 AD? to 1999 AD?)
  • BLACKSMITHS WORKSHOP (20th Century - 1900 AD? to 1999 AD?)

Description

The similarity of these two houses (The Forge and Calgary Cottage), and The Laurels to the south, indicates they may have been built at the same time and by the same builder. The 1910 Valuation Survey for The Forge (assessment no. 216) shows it was a blacksmith’s shop owned and occupied by William Hurst. [Photo] (B1).
