Description

Two probable 18th century granaries flanking the front of the farmhouse to which they are attached by garden walls which also screen the farmyards to the rear of the house. Presumably part of the 18th century remodelling of the farm and designed to give the impression of garden summerhouses or dovecots. The granaries are both square with pyramidal roofs and have upper floors with hayloft-type loading hatches. There are no traces of nesting boxes in either building (B1).
