Description

Excavations carried out by Archaeological Solutions in April 2010 identified a single shallow pit (F2021) with late prehistoric pottery and charcoal flecks in the fill. The pit was sub-circular, 0.5mX0.4m and 0.1m deep with sloping sides and concave base. An undated pit (F2013) 1m to the north of F2021 had a similar fill and may also be late prehistoric in date. See report for detail (B1).
