I/AGE POTTERY FROM GRAVESPOIL, N SIDE OF CHURCHYARD, & FIELD SURFACE, N SIDE OF CHURCH (NGR). MAINLY SMALL CALCITE-GRITTED BODY SHERDS (BI1). HANDMADE I/ AGE A OR B SHERDS(BI4). 2 I/AGE-SAXON SHERDS; 1 BELGIC; FROM MOLEHILLS ON N SIDE OF CHURCH (BI6). MORE BELGIC POTTERY FROM HIGHER SIDE OF FIELD (BI5)
SP 879298. Early Iron Age, Romano-British and Medieval sherds found in spoil from graves in the churchyard and from the surface of a ploughed field by R W Griffiths and D C Maynard (B7).
