Plan Form - CIRCULAR
'VIKING' RING OF RUDE WORKMANSHIP. PLAIN GOLD BAR TWISTED INTO CABLE THEN BENT & ENDS WELDED TOGETHER. GOOD EXAMPLE OF EARLY BRITISH WORK. ASCRIBED C9 (B4). VIKING PLAITED GOLD FINGER RING. FOUND ACCORDING TO RENN AT MOTTE & BAILEY. QUOTES BM & RECS OF BUCKS 5 P220 - HOWEVER REFERENCE IS INCORRECT (B5).


A Viking plaited gold finger-ring found at Weston Turville. Now in the British Museum (B6).
Found, according to Renn at the motte and bailey (SP 81 SE 9). He quotes the British Museum and Records of Bucks 5 220; however, this reference is incorrect (B5).
